The Use of the Diagnostic Jig:
Dr. Pappel utilizes a variety of diagnostic jigs to quickly evaluate the role of a patients bite and or in contributing to a variety of functional concerns that could include TMJ problems. These can include, headaches, facial and dental pain, stiff muscles, jaw joint noise, tooth grinding and tooth wear.
In aleviating these symptoms we are able to better plan with your dentist for the optimal corrections of the patients bite or TMJ symptoms.
Dr. Pappel has been lecturing on the utilization of these appliances in bite correction for over 5 years to local and regional dental groups. Dr. Pappel runs ongoing workshops with your dentist on treating patients with these diagnostic appliances.
