What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is the invisible and comfortable way to straighten your teeth without braces. We use a series of clear, customized, removable alginers to straighten your teeth. This means the hardly anyone will know that you are straightening your teeth. The Invisalign process has been proven effective in clinical research and in orthodontic practices worldwide.
How Does Invisalign Work?
You will wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move gradually – week by week until the final alignment prescribed by Dr. Pappel is attained.
You will visit us about once every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment will vary with the severity of your case but average treatment time is from 12- 24 months. The aligners are made through a combination of Dr. Pappel’s prescribed treatment and 3-D computer imaging technology provided by the Invisialign company.
